Union Station

We are taking advantage of R.AM.P. grants which are offering free activities on Saturdays during the summer throughout the county. On the 13th all the museums at the Union Station were free. L and CD were the only kids available kids that came with us. We visited the train museum, the automobile museum, and the Browning Gun museum. We had a great time! Thanks Weber Co. and RAMP!

CD in the engineer's seat

I had to take this photo of K standing by this rail handcart because he used to race using this exact car. Soon after we first got married I watched him race. There were several local teams and some professional traveling teams also. Klint's team won 2nd place the year I watched and 1st the prior year.

We didn't know it before we went, but the Union Station was also hosting the Arts Festival. That was great. I loved hearing the performances and browsing the booths. CD enjoyed the crafts.

What does RAMP stand for? Are other Counties doing things? I wish Vince didn't work on weekends, 'cause it's hard and not as fund to take the boys by myself. I forgot that Klint used to do that kind of race. How fun to see the car he used to use.
