Even though it was only a 12 day job, we were able to take advantage of one of the employee benefits offered. We could ride the Sky Coaster for only $5.00 instead of the typical $15.00. I had to take advantage of this. If I knew about the perk sooner I would have done it more than once, but it was only found out by word of mouth from former 12 day employees... and it took ten days to get around to me. But I took advantage of it on the 11th day, and tried on the 12th but the lines were extremely long on the 12th and there was no way I could ride while on my break. I am glad I did it on the 11th day!
This is me with two other "moms" that worked. They wanted me to go with them to pull the rip-cord 'cuz neither one of them wanted to pull it. So I did.
This is the ride from a distance. There are a couple people that you can barely see about to be launched. You are launched from 153 feet and "fly" or "swing" up to 80 mph. It is a rush... the best way to swing!
