Welcome to the family Amy! I have a new sister-in-law and I look forward to getting to know her. We know she makes my brother-in-law happy and that makes her wonderful in our eyes. And word has it, many people think the same of her. Elder Nelson of the Quarum of the 70 married them in the Ogden, UT temple. He was late to wedding and apologized when he arrived. Since we had all been waiting for awhile, he didn't change into white and just wore his Sunday suit that he drove from SLC in. He said he found out the day before that he had a 9:00 meeting with the First Presidency. That meeting turned into a 10:00 meeting. (The wedding was to be at 11:00.) But the First Presidency sent their blessing and congratulations to the couple which made the wait well worth it for the couple---not many have a that message at their wedding. It was a great ceremony and we are all happy for the couple!
It was pretty hot outside the day of the wedding, so as we waited for the bride and groom to come out of the temple for pictures, we grabbed shade where ever it could be found...I thought this was funning in the trees. (In the photo is my brother-in-law, K's cousin, K and CE)
Now husband and wife.
Happy in the moment....
Nieces waiting while pictures are being taken of the bride and groom...
