A family in our ward owns a local Mexican Resturant so we had a ward Cinco de Mayo party held at the resturant in the courtyard area. We had a buffet style dinner, some bounce toys for kids, pinatas, and a jalepino eating contest. My dad, husband, and son all entered the contest. CE blew everyone away. K had just finished his second when CE finished his 4th and was going to work on his 5th. Dad and K stopped after 2 (and tied for 2nd place) since CE was so far ahead...everyone else was just trying to get their first one down and swallowed. As CE picked up his 6th he was told he already won and doesn't need to eat any more so he stopped having eaten 5. He had a good time...and I started calling him "Hot Lips".

Was there a prize, or just bragging rights? Is this going to make dad hone his hot mouth to beat CE next time?
That's crazy! I can't even think about eating one! Looks like a fun party. I love Mexican food minus the hot stuff!!
THAT does NOT surprise me that CE won an eating contest -- no matter what food! Good for him.
